With increasing competition among tertiary education providers, Tafe NSW looked to leverage new technology in order to differentiate itself from its competitors. With the start of their 2018 marketing campaign fast approaching, they required a fast solution that could be adapted for use on both personal devices as well as large-scale Tafe careers and education expos.
Within a month, Lightweave developed the Be Ambitious app which allowed users to like and pass on various interests to create a tailored list of course suggestions on offer at Tafe NSW. Additionally, through Augmented Reality, it enabled Tafe’s printed marketing collateral to display AR games and videos. Be Ambitious launched as both a mobile app through the IOS and Google Play stores, as well as an installation piece for events and expos. This app integrated with Tafe systems and collected analytics for use in ongoing digital marketing campaigns.
The Be Ambitious app is a key differentiator in the tertiary education space, and allowed Tafe NSW to reach and engage with audiences like never before, highlighting Lightweave’s ability to deliver on innovation and quality in a short time frame.
